Ben Lomond (in the distance on the left) from below the Cobbler, Trossachs, South West Highlands, Scotland, made with Ebony RSW 45 with Rodenstock 90mm lens.
The boulder in the foreground is one of the 'Narnain boulders' (below Ben Narnain) which was deposited here at the end of the last ice age. When the print is enlarged, you can see wave-like patterns of contorted layers of rock in this 'erratic' boulder.
For me, this image captures what it can often be like walking in the hills in Scotland - cloudy, bleak, but beautiful.
